Saturday @ Belmont and Thistledown

Licking my woulds after a major beat down yesterday, I'll be off the turf today and watching more than wagering.

Belmont Park race 9
Over achieving NY-bred, HAYNESFIELD, has always come off fresheners ready to fire. I don't expect today to be different.

An eye on Thistledown
Thistledown race 2
LIE N' GEORGE is the first horse to run back in this short new season. The sharp maiden victory over a track that continue to favor speed seems to prep her for this condition. Yes distance is a concern.

Thistledown race 5
HYDROPLANE was on my radar scope Monday. I think that he still fits here, first time out for George Fiesman.
3rd

Thistledown race 7
With a decent 2011 warm up race under his belt, I assume that STARTIN SOMETHING will breeze by his rusty foes in the Dr. T.F. Classen Memorial Stakes. If there is currently a horseman with the dignity and enthusiasm for our state's horses walking around, please stand up and be recognized.OTB
